Schematic of the Cat Data Link CircuitThis failure results in codes that are logged against an ECM that is not communicating some expected information to the Machine ECM. The Machine ECM cannot communicate with the Master Control (LH) Station ECM or the ECM appears to work intermittently. System Response:When this diagnostic code is active, the following occurs:
Machine will be brought to a controlled stop in 4 seconds.
Machine propulsion is disabled until fault fixed.
The fault horn is active.
Operator station fault lamp is active.
The following pop-up message shows on graphical display: "Loss of communication with Master Station. Machine function disabled until fault fixed."Note: The Machine ECM is located inside the Center Console.Test Step 1. VERIFY THE HARDWARE AND THE SOFTWARE PART NUMBERS.
