Position blade assembly (1) and circle (2) onto suitable blocking.

Extend blade assembly (1) to the full extent. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device. Remove pin (3) and retract the sideshift cylinder.
Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device in order to pull blade assembly (1) from circle (2). Note: Do not remove the blade assembly from the circle at this time.

Attach an additional Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto blade assembly (1). Remove blade assembly (1) from circle (2). The weight of blade assembly (1) is approximately 635 kg (1400 lb).

Remove bolts (4), stop plate (5), wear strip (6), and shims (7). Repeat this step for the remaining wear strips and shims. Note: The wear strips and shims can be replaced without removing the blade assembly.
