Install shims (7), wear strip (6), stop plate (5), and bolts (4). Repeat this step for the remaining wear strips and shims.

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device in order to install blade assembly (1) onto circle (2). The weight of blade assembly (1) is approximately 635 kg (1400 lb).
Extend the sideshift cylinder and install pin (3).

Check the clearance between wear strips (6) and the blade rails at the minimum clearance by sideshifting the blade assembly through the full range. Add or remove shims (7) equally between the top rail and the bottom rail in order to obtain a clearance of 0.127 to 0.889 mm (0.005 to 0.035 inch).
