Removal Procedure

Remove lower windshield wiper (1).

Open the side access door.
Put identification marks on hose assemblies (2) for installation purposes. Remove hose assemblies (2) from the underside of the cab. Put plugs in the ends of the hoses. Plugs prevent oil loss. Plugs prevent contaminating the hydraulic system.

Put identification marks on hose assemblies (3) for installation purposes. Remove hose assemblies (3) from the underside of the cab. Put plugs in the ends of the hoses. Plugs prevent oil loss. Plugs prevent contaminating the hydraulic system.

Put identification marks on hose assemblies (4) for installation purposes. Remove hose assemblies (4) from the underside of the cab. Put plugs in the ends of the hoses. Plugs prevent oil loss. Plugs prevent contaminating the hydraulic system.

Remove hoses (5) and heater hose (6) from the underside of the cab. Put plugs in the ends of the hoses. Plugs prevent oil loss. Plugs prevent contaminating the hydraulic system.
Disconnect electrical connectors (7) on the underside of the cab.

Fasten four 6V-2157 Link Brackets and four lifting straps to top of cab (8), as shown.

Disconnect lines (9) from air conditioning accumulator (10).
Remove bolts (11) that connect the cab riser to the cab.
Raise the cab slowly. Check for additional lines or connections that could be damaged.
Carefully remove the cab from the machine. The weight of the cab is 410 kg (900 lb).
