PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Park the machine on level ground with the park brake applied and chock the wheels. Open the master disconnect and lock and tag it in the "Open" position.
Note: Modifications to the unswitched battery circuits will be made in this Rework Procedure.
Image1.1.1 is the wiring schematic after the rework is complete.

1. Mount the 3E-5239 Relay on the back wall of the cab using the existing 6V-8837 Bolt, 3C-3681 Nut, and 9X-8256 Washer. Refer to Image1.2.1.
2. Connect the 371-1286 Harness to the newly installed relay and route the other end of the harness inside of the cab through the existing grommet. Refer to Image1.2.1.

3. Remove wire 320-MC325 and 322-MC264 (Pins 24 & 25) from the bottom side of connector 15 (MC-C42). Cut the existing Pins off of both wires and replace with sockets, 9x-3402. Refer to Image1.3.1.

4. Insert the removed wire 320-MC325 into Pin B of connector A-C1 in the new 371-1285 harness. Refer to Image1.4.1.
5. Insert the removed wire 322-MC264 into Pin C of connector A-C1 in the new 371-1285 harness. Refer to Image1.4.1.

6. Locate wire 114-M212 on the back side of fuse block number 6.
Cut this wire as long as possible from the back of the fuse block and crimp a 9X-3402 Socket on the end of the wire. Tape the remainder of the cut wire to the main cab harness. Refer to Image1.5.1.

7. Insert wire 114-M212 that was crimped in Step 6 into Pin 1 of connector A-C2 of the new 371-1285 Harness. Refer to Image1.6.1.

8. Connect the new 371-1285 Harness, to 371-1286 Harness, by mating Connectors A-C1 to C-C1.
9. Secure all wiring and connections with 3S-2093 Tie Straps.
10. Restore the machine to its original condition, remove your lock and tags and turn "OFF" the master disconnect.
11. Press the horn button on the center of the steering column to verify the operation of the horn.
