Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Position engine oil pump (5) on the dowels in the cylinder block. Install bolts (4). Note: Ensure that engine oil pump (5) is seated on the dowels before the bolts are tightened.
Install the O-ring seal on tube assembly (7). Lubricate the bore in engine oil pump (5) with clean engine oil. Install tube assembly (7) in engine oil pump (5). Install the washer and bolt (6).
Install bolts (2) in order to secure suction bell assembly (8) to plate (9).
Install the O-ring seal on tube assembly (1). Lubricate the bore in engine oil pump (5) with clean engine oil. Install tube assembly (1) in engine oil pump (5). Install bolts (3). End By:
Install the engine oil pan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Pan - Remove and Install".
