2. Remove all clamps (1) and clips that hold air and hydraulic lines (2) to the hitch. Disconnect the lines.3. Fasten a hoist to the hitch. Lift the weight of the hitch off the hitch pins. 4. Remove cotter pin and nut (3) from hitch front pin. Remove collar from hitch front pin using two 1/2"-13NC forcing screws. Remove hitch front pin. 5. Remove bolts (4) and locks (6) that hold nut to hitch rear pin. Remove nut (5) from hitch rear pin.6. Remove two bolts that hold hitch rear pin to the differential case. Remove hitch rear pin (7). 7. Remove the hitch with a hoist. Weight of the hitch is 2750 lb. (1248 kg).Install Cushion Hitch
1. Put pin bores in hitch in alignment with the pin bores in the differential case. 2. Put rear pin (1) in pin bore and install two bolts that hold it. Install nut (3) on opposite end of hitch rear pin. Tighten nut to a torque of 375 25 lb.ft. (508.4 33.9 N m). Install two locks (2) and bolts (4) that hold nut in position on hitch rear pin. 3. Install hitch front pin in hitch front bore. Install collar in bore for the hitch front pin. Install nut (5) on hitch front pin and tighten nut to a torque of 375 25 lb.ft. (508.4 33.9 N m). Install cotter pin. 4. Put all air and hydraulic lines (7) in their respective locations on the hitch. start by: a) separation of tractor and scraperb) remove cushion hitch centering valvec) remove accumulatord) remove steering follow-up sender cylinder
Do not disconnect lines or remove plugs in cushion hitch circuit until engine has been shut off for a minimum of five minutes.

Fasten a hoist to steering links. Remove steering pins (1) and links (2). Steering links weigh 95 lb. (43 kg). 3. Fasten a hoist to the rear section of the hitch (6). Remove lockwires, bolts (9), and plates from each side of the hitch lower link (8). Remove the hitch lower pin.4. Remove lockwires, bolts, and plates from each side of the hitch top link (7). Fasten the hitch load cylinder to the front section of the hitch. Remove the hitch top link pin. Remove the rear section of the hitch (6). Weight is 725 lb. (329 kg). 5. Fasten a hoist to the hitch load cylinder (11). Remove lockwires, bolts (10) and plates (12) from the hitch lower link.
