Due to a cylinder block change a new tool is used to insert the valve lifter guide spring.To complete the installation of the 305-6843 Guide Spring for the valve lifter, use the 5P-7433 Valve Lifter Tool Group that includes the new 417-1323 Sleeve .Note: The 417-1323 Sleeve is available in Morton Parts if your current tool group needs updated.The new 417-1323 Sleeve is adaptable back to the first production of the engines in the listed machines.Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, RENR2336, "Lifter Group - Remove and Install" to change the lifter guide spring. Be sure to utilize the 417-1323 Sleeve when inserting the lifter guide spring.
