The machine must be level with the equipment lowered, hydraulic and antitravel lock engaged and the engine stopped. 1. Lower the guard under the engine compartment. 2. Remove the crankcase drain plug from under the upper structure. Allow the oil to drain. 3. Remove the two crankcase oil filters and discard them. 4. Clean the mounting surfaces of the filter base. Make sure all of the old filter seals are removed. 5. Lubricate the seals of two new filters with clean engine oil. 6. Install the new filters by hand. When the seals contact the filter base, tighten 3/4 turn more. Use the rotation index marks on the filters as a guide for proper tightening.
Do not overtighten the filters.
7. Clean and install the drain plug. 7. Open the rear access door. Remove the crankcase fill plug. Fill the crankcase with oil. See "Refill Capacities."8. Start and operate the engine. Check for leaks. 9. Stop the engine. Check the oil level. Maintain the level between the ADD and FULL marks on the dipstick.
