Component Code(s) 7426SUBJECT: Wiper Interval Relay failures On Wheeled Excavators.
PROBLEM:
There are reports of failures with the 155-4574 Relay Assembly. The cause for the failures has been related to shorts and open circuits.
SOLUTION:
The 155-4574 Relay Assembly has been replaced with the new 248-7372 Relay Assembly. The timer relay is part of the wiper circuit for B-Series and C-Series Wheeled Excavators, and is also used for the swing brake on the B-Series Wheeled Excavators. See illustration 1 for details about the relay assembly.
