Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".

Note: Mark the position of ejector plate stops (1) and (2) for installation purposes.
Remove ejector plate stops (1) and (2) .
Repeat Step 1 for the other side.
Start the engine.
Move the ejector plate to the rear of the body. Ensure that the ejector cylinders are fully extended.
Stop the engine.

Install Tooling (A) , Tooling (B) , and a suitable lifting device to ejector plate (3) . The weight of ejector plate (3) is approximately 2700 kg (5950 lb).

Support ejector cylinder (4) with wood blocks.

Remove bolt (5) and bolt (6) from pin assembly (7) .
Install a suitable slide hammer to pin assembly (7) .
Remove pin assembly (7) .
Repeat Step 7 through Step 10 for the other side.
Remove the ejector plate.
Start the machine.
Retract the ejector cylinders.
Stop the machine.
