Information:

1. Use tooling (A) to install the outer seal in body (1). Install the seal with the spring loaded lip toward the pump shaft bearing. 2. Use tooling (A) to install the inner seal in body (1). Install the seal with the spring loaded lip toward the pump shaft bearing.3. Make sure plug (2) is in place in body (1). 4. Put body (1) on wood blocks and put washer (3) in body (1). 5. If necessary, heat bearing (5) to a maximum temperature of 275°F (135°C). Install bearing (5) on shaft (4).6. Use tool (B) to install snap ring (6). Make sure snap ring (6) is completely in its groove.7. Put a light coat of clean engine oil on the seal lips and install shaft (4) and bearing (5) in body (1). 8. Install lockring (7) in its groove in body (1) to hold the bearing in position. Make sure lockring (7) is completely in its groove. 9. Install seal (8) in body (1). Seals (10) are two piece seals. Make sure the O-ring is in its seal in each seal before seals (10) are installed. Install each seal with the O-ring in contact with cover (9).10. Install seals (10) in cover (9) for the large cartridge. Install the seals with the smooth surface up. 11. Put plate (11) on cover (9). The bronze face of the plate must be next to the rotor. When the vanes (13) are installed correctly, the rear edge of each vane is next to the balance opening (slot) in the rotor.12. Put a light coat of clean hydraulic oil on vanes (13) and inserts (14) and install them in rotor (12). The sharp edge of each vane is toward the direction (arrow) of pump rotation. Each vane (13) must move freely in its slot in the rotor(12). Each insert (14) must move freely in its vane (13). 13. Put a light coat of clean engine oil on plate (11).14. Put a large rubber band around rotor (12) to hold the vanes and inserts in the rotor.15. Put rotor (12) and vanes on plate (11). Be sure the leading (sharp) edge of the vanes is in the direction of pump rotation. 16. Put a light coat of clean engine oil on cam ring (15) and put cam ring in position over rotor (12). Make an alignment of the marks made prior to disassembly. Make sure the direction of the arrow on the cam ring is in the direction of pump rotation. 17. Put a light coat of clean engine oil on the bronze face of plate (16) and install plate (16) on cam ring (15) with the bronze face toward the rotor.
Make sure the notches on the outside diameter of the plates are in alignment. Make an alignment of these notches with the chamfers on ring (15).
18. Install seals (17) in cover (18). Install the seals with the smooth surface up. Seals (17) are two piece seals. Make sure the O-ring is
