Lift Cylinder Speed Test
Note: Perform the lift cylinder speed test with an empty general purpose bucket. If no work tool is mounted on the machine, use a weight of 200 kg (441 lb).
Move the machine to a smooth, horizontal location. Move the machine away from other operating machines and away from personnel.
Lower the bucket to the ground. Engage the parking brake.
Run the engine and warm the hydraulic oil to 50° 10°C (122° 18°F).
Run the engine at high idle.
Operate the lift cylinder through five cycles. This will ensure that there is warm oil in the lift cylinders.
Raise the bucket from the ground.
Tilt the bucket to the full TILT BACK position. Lower the bucket to the full LOWER position.
Raise the bucket from the full LOWER position to the full RAISE position. Hold the full RAISE position until a stall condition occurs. Record the time from the full LOWER position to the full RAISE position.
Lower the bucket from the full RAISE position to the full LOWER position. Record the time from the full RAISE position to the full LOWER position.
Raise the bucket to the full RAISEposition. Move the pilot control valve to the FLOAT position. Record the time from the full RAISE position to the full LOWER position.
