Install bolts (13). Tighten bolts (13) to a torque of 270 40 N m (199 30 lb ft).

Install seal rings (12) to piston (8).

Install seal rings (11) to piston (8).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to piston (8). The weight of piston (8) is approximately 42 kg (93 lb). Position piston (8) to the original orientation.

Reposition piston (8) downward. Install pins (10) to guides (9).

Install Tooling (B) to piston (8). Remove Tooling (C) from guides (9).

Remove Tooling (B) from piston (8).

Install damper assembly (7).

One of these flow paths must be positioned so that it is fully enclosed by the outlet cooling port of the anchor-brake.Note: The missing teeth on the friction disc must be aligned to create a cooling oil path.
Use Tooling (D) to install friction discs (6). Refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1004. Install friction discs (6) and the plates. Install damper assembly (5). Install O-ring seal (4).Note: Do not remove Tooling (D) until the installation of cover (3) and nuts (2) is complete.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to cover (3). Install cover (3) and nuts (2). Remove Tooling (D).

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Tighten each nut (2) by approximately one half of a turn. Continue tightening each nut (2) by approximately one half of a turn until nuts (2) are installed. Tighten nuts (2) to a torque of 100 20 N m (75 15 lb ft).
