Install Tooling (E) approximately 38 mm (1.5 inch) below the housing of transmission planetary (7) .
Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to transmission planetary (7). The weight of transmission planetary (7) is approximately 315 kg (695 lb). Position transmission planetary (7) in the transfer gear case.
Remove Tooling (C) and the suitable lifting device.
Use Tooling (E) to lower transmission planetary (7) into position. Remove Tooling (E) .
Install bolts (5) and O-ring seal (6) .

Attach Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and Tooling (C) to transmission planetary and transfer gear case (3). The weight of transmission planetary and transfer gear case is approximately 630 kg (1390 lb). Reposition transmission planetary and transfer gear case (3) onto Tooling (D) and suitable cribbing.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to torque converter (2). The weight of torque converter (2) is approximately 184 kg (405 lb). Install torque converter (2) and bolts (1) .End By:
Install the relief valve (transmission lubrication) (scraper).
Install the transmission oil filter (scraper).
Install transmission hydraulic control valve (scraper).
Install the transmission oil pump (scraper).
Install the torque converter, the transmission, and the transfer gears (scraper).
