Note: The "GPS Position" applies to machines with a satellite receiver group only."GPS Position" provides the GPS position that is reported by the satellite receiver group (GPS). The status of the GPS signal is also provided in this section. The positions are shown in the local coordinates of the mine."GPS Source:" - This information provides the source of the GPS position. The following sources are possible: "Low Precision GPS Receiver", "TMAC", "High Precision GPS Receiver", "NMEA (UDP)", and "NMEA (Serial)"."Easting (m):" - This status is the easting that is reported by the satellite receiver group (GPS) in local coordinates."Northing (m):" - This status is the northing that is reported by the satellite receiver group (GPS) in local coordinates."Elevation (m):" - This status is the elevation that is reported by the satellite receiver group (GPS) in local coordinates."WGS-84 Latitude" - Displays the latitude component of the location coordinates of the machine using 1984 World Geodetic System."WGS-84 Longitude" - Displays the longitude component of the location coordinates of the machine using 1984 World Geodetic System."WGS-84 Height (m)" - Displays the elevation component (in meters) of the location coordinates of the machine using 1984 World Geodetic System."Satellite count:" - This status is the number of satellites that can be viewed by the satellite receiver group (GPS)."DGPS Mode:" - "DGPS" refers to Differential Global Positioning System. If the satellite receiver group (GPS) is not obtaining differential corrections, then the message "No Corrections" will be displayed."PDOP:" - "PDOP" refers to Position Dilution of Precision. This status is an indication of the accuracy of the GPS position. A value less than four indicates the best GPS accuracy. This distance would be less than 1 meter. A value between four and eight indicates an acceptable GPS accuracy.
