(1) Brake Cooling Pressure tap location at the rear wheel
Remove the dust cap from the pressure tap (1).
Confirm that the oil temperature is between 79°C (175°F) and 93°C (200°F).
Run the engine at low idle. Use 198-4240 Digital Pressure Indicator to check the pressure at pressure taps (1). Confirm the pressure is above 14 kPa (2 psi).
Run the engine at high idle. Use 198-4240 Digital Pressure Indicator to check the pressure at the pressure tap (1). The pressure gauge reading must not exceed 172 kPa (25 psi).Note: If this pressure exceeds the limit, seal damage will result.
