Information:
1. Remove the cotter pin, nut (1) and cap (2) that hold the steering block to the pitman arm.2. Move the tie rods and steering block out of the way. 3. Remove bolt (3) and nut from the pitman arm.4. Move the steering cylinder to the retracted position. 5. Remove the pin that holds the rod end of the steering cylinder to the pitman arm with tooling (A) as shown. 6. Use tooling (B) and remove nut (4). 7. Remove cover (5) from the frame.8. Bend the lock up that holds the locknut and nuts in position. 9. Remove locknut (6) and the lock from the pitman shaft.10. Tighten the nut on the pitman shaft to make the pitman shaft free from the pitman arm. Remove pitman shaft (7) from the housing. Remove the nut and thrust washer from the pitman shaft. The pitman arm and washer will fall when the pitman shaft is removed. 11. Remove bearing (8) from the frame. 12. Remove bearings (10) from pitman arm (9) with tooling (C) and a press.Install Pitman Arm And Lower Pitman Shaft
1. Install the bearings in pitman arm (1) with tooling (A).

TOP VIEW OF TOOLING (B)2. Install the bearing in the frame with tooling (B) as shown. 3. Install the lower pitman shaft (2). 4. Put washer (3) and pitman arm (1) in position on the shaft. Install the washer and nut that holds the pitman arm in position. Use tooling (C) and tighten the nut to a torque of 320 20 lb.ft. (435 25 N m). 5. Put 2P2506 Anti-Seize Compound on thrust washer (7) and install thrust washer (7) and nut (6). Tighten nut (6) until the end clearance is removed from the pitman shaft.6. Install lock (5) and locknut (4) to hold nut (6) in place. 7. Install cover (8) on the frame.8. Make an alignment of the steering cylinder rod end with the hole in the pitman arm. 9. Make an alignment of hole (11) in pin (10) with hole (9) in the pitman arm. Install pin (10). 10. Install bolt (12) and nut that holds the pin in place.11. Install steering block (13) in the pitman arm.12. Install the cap, nut and cotter pin that holds the steering block to the pitman arm.
1. Install the bearings in pitman arm (1) with tooling (A).

TOP VIEW OF TOOLING (B)2. Install the bearing in the frame with tooling (B) as shown. 3. Install the lower pitman shaft (2). 4. Put washer (3) and pitman arm (1) in position on the shaft. Install the washer and nut that holds the pitman arm in position. Use tooling (C) and tighten the nut to a torque of 320 20 lb.ft. (435 25 N m). 5. Put 2P2506 Anti-Seize Compound on thrust washer (7) and install thrust washer (7) and nut (6). Tighten nut (6) until the end clearance is removed from the pitman shaft.6. Make an alignment of hole (11) in pin (10) with hole (9) in the pitman arm. Install pin (10). 10. Install bolt (12) and nut that holds the pin in place.11. Install steering block (13) in the pitman arm.12. Install the cap, nut and cotter pin that holds the steering block to the pitman arm.
