For operator comfort and maximum service life of power train components, deceleration and/or braking is recommended before any directional shifts are made.
Changing from low speed to high speed at full engine speed is possible. Directional changes at full engine speed are possible. However, if you are changing direction, reducing the machine speed and/or braking the machine is recommended. Keep a loaded bucket low to the ground.
Reduce the engine speed with the accelerator pedal.
Press the service brake pedals downward in order to stop the machine.
Move the direction control to the desired direction. Note: Use only one direction control while the other direction control is in NEUTRAL.
Move the speed selector switch to the desired speed.
Release the service brake pedals.
Increase the engine speed with the accelerator pedal. Reference: For more information, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Operator Controls".
