Installation Procedure
Make sure that the mating surfaces of the swing motor and the swing drive are thoroughly clean and dry.
Check the condition of the O-ring seal that is used between the swing motor and the swing drive. Check the condition of the O-ring seals that are used in the ends of all the hose assemblies that are connected to the swing motor. If any of the seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
Install the O-ring seal on the swing motor. Put clean oil on the O-ring seal.

Fasten a hoist to the swing motor. Put the swing motor in the motor's original position on the swing drive. The weight of the swing motor is 34 kg (75 lb). Install twelve bolts (10) and the washers that hold the swing motor. Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the bolts. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 90 1 N m (65 1 lb ft) .

Install hose assembly (8) to the swing parking brake.
Install clamp (9) to the swing parking brake.
Connect the electrical connector to the swing parking brake.
Install hose assembly (5) to the swing motor.

Install three hose assemblies (2) , (3) and (4) to the swing motor.

Install four hose assemblies (1) to the main control valve.
To avoid system damage, make sure that the hydraulic motor is properly filled with hydraulic oil before start-up.
Note: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities" for the correct filling procedure and the correct levels for the hydraulic oil system.
Fill the swing drive with oil to the correct level.
