start by:a) remove left side doors1. Use tool (A) to remove oil filter elements (1) from the oil filter base. 2. Remove the bolts that hold filter base (2) in position. Remove oil filter base (2) from the engine. 3. Remove O-ring seals (3). 4. Inspect the studs (4) and make replacements if necessary. Studs (4) are a tight thread fit in oil filter base (2). Studs (4) will be damaged during the removal procedure.Install Oil Filter Base
1. Install studs (1). Put 9S3263 Thread Lock on the last 10 mm (.40 in.) of thread at the base end of the studs. Tighten to a torque of 80 14 N m (60 10 lb.ft.). 2. Install O-ring seals (2). 3. Install oil filter base (3). 4. Install oil filter elements (4). Put clean engine oil on the filter seal. 5. Put the filter element in position and tighten until the seal makes contact with the base.6. Turn the filter an additional 270° (3/4 turn).end by:a) install left side doors
