Use the fan mounting holes that position the fan away from the window as shown in Illustration 2.4. Use 16 AWG wire to connect power to the fan. Run the fan power wire from the fan, down the right front post of the cab to the dash. See Illustration 3.
Illustration 3. Location of fan power wire.5. Drill a small hole in the dash. Install a grommet in the hole and run the fan power wire through the grommet. See Illustration 3.6. Connect the fan power wire to an auxiliary fuse position that is not used on the fuse panel. See Illustration 4. Install a 15 ampere fuse in this auxiliary fuse position.
Illustration 4. Location of auxiliary fuse positions. When the window for the left cab door is inverted, water may leak into the cab at the window ledge.7. Remove the window from the left cab door and install it inverted. This will put the window opening at the top of the cab door. See Illustration 5.
Illustration 5. Inverted installation of window in left cab door.8. After the window has been inverted, remove the two rack strips from the window frame. See Illustration 6.9. Invert the rack strips and install in the same location they were removed from. This will allow the sliding window to be held in the correct position.To install the rack strips, first install the screws at each end of the rack strips. Then drill the small holes for the inner screws of the rack strips. Install the inner screws. See Illustration 6.
