The following test will determine the pressures that are being delivered to each individual transmission clutch at low idle.The No. 1 clutch through the No. 4 clutch should engage at 2585 105 kPa (375 15 psi) (main relief valve pressure) at LOW IDLE. The No. 5 clutch should engage at a pressure of 2240 170 kPa (325 25 psi) at LOW IDLE.Required Tools
You will need two sets of tooling (A) or two sets of tooling (B) in order to perform the following tests.

Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location.
Lower all of the implements.

(1) Pressure Tap CL1 ( reverse )
(2) Pressure Tap CL2 ( forward )
(3) Pressure Tap CL3 ( Third gear )
(4) Pressure Tap CL4 ( Second gear )
(5) Pressure Tap CL5 ( First gear )
Attach one set of tooling (A) to pressure tap (2) and one set of tooling (A) to pressure tap (5). Pressure tap (2) is for No. 2 Clutch (FORWARD). Pressure tap (5) is for No. 5 Clutch (FIRST SPEED).
Run the hydraulic hoses from tooling (A) into the cab. Test Procedure
Start the engine.
Warm the power train oil to a temperature of 84° 8°C (183° 14°F).
Operate the engine at LOW IDLE.
Engage the service brake.
Disengage the parking brake.
Place the transmission in the FIRST SPEED FORWARD position.
Check the pressure at tooling (A) for the No. 2 clutch. The pressure at tooling (A) for the No. 2 clutch should be 2585 105 kPa (375 15 psi) (main relief pressure).
Check the pressure at tooling (A) for the No. 5 clutch. The pressure at tooling (A) for the No. 5 clutch should be 2240 170 kPa (325 25 psi).
Use Table 2 in order to check all of the other combination of clutches. Copy Table 1 and record the pressure measurements in the table.
