Move the machine to a hard surface. Park the machine in the straight ahead position and engage parking brake (1) .
Lower the bucket to the ground.

Move STIC steering and transmission lock control (2) to the LOCKED position.

Turn the engine start switch key (3) to OFF position in order to stop the engine.

Move STIC control (4) through all the positions in order to relieve the hydraulic system pressure.

Move tilt control lever (5) and bucket control lever (6) through all the positions in order to relieve the hydraulic system pressure.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Apply foot brake valve (7) several times in order to relieve the pressure in the brake system.

Depress the button on the top of breaker relief valve (8) in order to release the pressure in the implement hydraulic tank.Charge
Charge the hydraulic system by starting the engine. Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Engine Starting" for the procedure to start the engine.
