Thoroughly inspect the viscous damper for signs of leakage or for signs of a dented (damaged) case. Either of these conditions can cause the weight to make contact with the case. This can affect the viscous damper's operation.
Install Tooling (A) into the crankshaft.

Position damper assembly (19) onto adapter assembly (20). The weight of vibration damper (19) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Install spacer (23) and install bolts (22) .
Install Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to vibration damper (19) and adapter assembly (20). The weight of vibration damper (19) and adapter assembly (20) is approximately 57 kg (125 lb). Install the vibration damper (19) and adapter (20).
Apply Tooling (C) to bolts (21). Install bolts (21). Remove Tooling (A) and install the remaining bolts. Tighten bolts (21) to a torque of 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft).

Install crankshaft pulley (18) to vibration damper (19) and install bolts (17) .

Install tube assembly (12) and tighten clamp (16) .

Remove clamp (15) from tube assembly (12) .

Connect hose (13) to water temperature regulator housing (14). Hose (13) is connected to tube assembly (12) that was referred to in the previous steps.

Connect hose assemblies (11) to tube assembly (12) .

Install belt (10). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".

Install left side shield assembly (8) and install bolts (7) .

Install tube (6) .

Install shield assembly (4) and install bolts (5). Connect hose (3) to aftercooler (2).

Install top grill (9) .

Install grill panel (1). Repeat for the other side.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".
