Display AreaHarness code mode is mode 1. The machine code is shown on the six digit display area when the main display module is in harness code mode. The machine code must correspond with the monitoring system that is installed on the machine sales model. See the following table for Machine Codes. The machine code is a two-digit representation of the harness code. An incorrect harness code is one that does not match the machine. Incorrect operation of the monitoring system will be caused by an erroneous harness code. Excessive diagnostic codes could be recorded as a result of this situation.

Some configurations support only direct switch inputs to the Monitoring System, while other configurations may expect information to come from the Power Train Electronic Control Module (ECM).Although the Monitoring System supports Secondary Steering, not all machines have been built with Secondary Steering in place. The appropriate switches may not be installed. The Power Train Control may not respond to the data requests. In order to support for future needs, the Monitoring System modules may be capable of extra functions.
