CB-224C (3AL) Vibratory CompactorsDescription of Change: An improved throttle cable is available for machines with either the 2M40L or 2M41 (Emissions-Certified) Hatz engine.Adaptable To: The improved 167-7408 Control Gp-Accel (Throttle Cable) is directly adaptable to machines with the previous vintage of cable and the Hatz 2M41 Emissions Certified Engine: 3AL1171-1464, 9XK742-936. (Exceptions are listed below). The improved 167-7407 Control Gp-Accel is directly adaptable to machines with the previous vintage of cable and the 2M40L Hatz engine: 3AL1-1170, 9XK1-741.
Exceptions: The improved Control Gp-Accel was installed at the factory on the following machines: 3AL1422-Up except, 3AL1423, 3AL1425-3AL1438, 3AL1441-3AL1442, 3AL1446-3AL1455, 3AL1463-3AL1464 and 9XK930-Up except 9XK932-9XK936.
The Emissions Certified 2M41 engine was effective at the factory on the following machines: 3AL1171-Up and 9XK742-Up.
Adjustment of idle and work RPM's (corresponding to the two notches in the rotating column-mounted handle) may be required and are as follows for both engines listed: Idle RPM's (1150 50), Work RPM's (2500 50).
