Wiper And Washer
Use a 8S4627 Circuit Tester to check for continuity (open or closed circuits) in the switches, fuses and wiring.
The 8S4627 is to be used only on non-energized circuits. A multimeter must be used to check energized circuits.
Typical Switch Test
To check the wiper/washer switch, connect the clip of the circuit tester to terminal B (battery). Turn switch to the low speed position and touch the probe to terminal L (low speed). If the circuit tester does not light replace the switch. Use the same procedure to check the other wiper functions of the switch. To check the washer circuit of the switch, connect the clip of the circuit tester to terminal B. Touch the probe to terminal W and push the switch control knob. If the light does not light replace the switch.
