Install coupling (26).

Use Tooling (E) to install bearing (25).

Install plate (24). Install sleeve (23).
Use Tooling (K) and a suitable lifting device to remove the center housing and the pump from Tooling (A). Weight of the center housing and the pump is 233 kg (515 lb). Fasten the stub shaft pump on Tooling (A).

Install port plate (37) in center housing (32). The pin in the center housing must line up with the recess in the port plate.
Attach Tooling (N) and a suitable lifting device to the center housing and the pump. Lower the center housing onto the pump housing. The port plate must not fall out of the center housing. The piston assemblies must be lined up in the center housing. The locating pins must be lined up in the center housing. The weight of the center housing is 233 kg (515 lb).

Install bolts (22). Use Tooling (L) to tighten the bolts. Refer to Sliderule Torque Computer, SEHS7150 for the torquing procedure. Tighten the bolts to 780 N m (575 lb ft).

Install blocks (19) and the O-rings. Install bolts (18).

Install spring (17) onto spool (16).

Assemble valve group (4), as follows: retainer (8), spring (9), spring (10), retainer (11), sleeve (12) and valve spool (13).

Install cover (6) and the O-ring.
Install O-rings (5). Install O-ring (7).

Install valve bodies (3) and the O-rings. The pins in the valve bodies must line up with the recesses in the housing. Install the bolts.

Install hose assembly (1) and the O-rings. End By:
Install the main hydraulic pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Hydraulic Pump and Pump Drive Coupling - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
Fill pump cases with oil.
