Duty cycle versus temperatureThe temperature sensor is a input signal to the brake/cooling ECM. The sensor is designed to determine the temperature of the front brake oil. The temperature sensor receives 8 DCV on contact A from contact J1-11 of the brake/cooling ECM. The pressure sensor is grounded on contact B to contact J1-12 of the brake/cooling ECM. The signal circuit of the sensors connect from contact C to contact J1-51 (left wheel) and to contact J1-52 (right wheel) of the brake/cooling ECM.The temperature sensors are PWM sensors. The ECM measures the duty cycle of the signal and the ECM responds accordingly to the signal. See Illustration 22.Temperature Sensors (Right Rear Brake Oil) (Left Rear Brake Oil)

The signal circuit of the sensors connect from contact C to contact J1-59 of the brake/cooling ECM.The temperature sensors are PWM sensors. The ECM measures the duty cycle of the signal and the ECM responds accordingly to the signal. See Illustration 28.The oil temperature sensor is available to other modules through the CAT data link.
