This failure may lead to excessive engine movement, and lead to unexpected machine downtime.Solution

(1) 6Y-2090 Mount As Previous mount
(1A) Mount As Improved mountFor D10T/D10T2 Track-Type Tractors (powered by a C27 engine), replace with the same part. Design iterations are ongoing to provide an improved mount. This Technical Information Bulletin will be updated once that has progressed to the point of being suitable for more field retrofits.For D11R/D11T Track-Type Tractors (powered by a C32 engine), two options exist. You may replace the failed rear engine mount with same part (1), while field validation and endurance are ongoing. Or, you may retrofit with the proposed improved mount (1A), which is 35 mm (1.378 inch) longer. If you plan to proceed with proposed new mount (1A), contact your local Field Rep or DSN Tier II for further instruction on this retrofit process. Illustration 2 shows a comparison of current mount (1) to the proposed improved mount (1A).Note: This issue does not include D11R Track-Type Tractors that are powered by a 3508 engine. Only machines that have been repowered with a C32 engine.
