(3) Fluid lines The optional additive system for the water cannon is located in proximity to the water cannon.The additive system is used to add fluids to the water stream of the water cannon. Added fluids may include soap and foam. The electronic control capability and optional water cannon nozzle (1) are supplied. The remaining additive system components are supplied by the customer. These components are typically comprised ofsolenoid valves (2), fluid lines (3) and appropriate fluid tanks.Cannon nozzle (1) contains a venturi. The drawing action is active when pressurized cannon water flow is present. The cannon nozzle provides a fluid port to the venturi. The fluid port blends fluids from fluid lines (3) into the water stream. When the system is operating with pressurized water flow, the fluid flow is controlled by solenoids (2) between the nozzle and fluid tanks. The solenoids are controlled by the display via the XA2-A3 front module when signaled by the operator joystick buttons. When the system is operating, the fluids will flow until one of the following occurs:
The fluid is depleted.
Solenoids (2) are closed.
The pressurized water flow ceases.
