Removal Procedure
Start By:a. Connect steering frame lock.b. Release the hydraulic system pressure.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
Depress the brake pedal repeatedly to release any pressure in the brake system.

Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and remove bolts (2).

Remove bolt (3) and position hose assemblies (1).

Attach a suitable lifting device to accumulator assemblies (5). The weight of accumulator assemblies (5) is approximately 56 kg (125 lb). Remove bolts (4) and accumulator assemblies (5).Installation Procedure
Install accumulator assemblies (5) in the reverse order of removal.
