Start By:
Remove the bottom guards. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, SENR1861, "Bottom Guard - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Remove the track roller frame. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track Roller Frame - Remove" for the correct procedure.

Loosen two nuts (2) and two screws (1) on both sides of the machine.

Position Tool (A) under the hardbar on the side with the track roller frame that was not removed.

Put the wood blocks under the track roller frame. When Tool (A) is removed, the wood blocks should keep the hardbar from contacting the frame. Remove Tool (A) .

Remove three bolts (3) that hold flange (4) to the roller frame.

Note: The pin has a shoulder. The pin can only be removed from the front. Put Tool (B) in the correct position, as shown. Put the wedges of Tool (C) between the rear of the hardbar and the rear ear on the track roller frame. This will prevent any movement and binding during the removal of the pin.
Use Tool (B) to remove the end pin from the hardbar and from the track roller frame.

Remove three bolts (6) and plate (5) from the saddle.

Install Tool (C) between the front of the hardbar and the saddle. This will prevent any movement of the front saddle during the removal of the center pin.

The weight of the hardbar is 390 kg (858 lb). Put Tool (D) in position under the hardbar. Put heavy gauge wire (7) around the hardbar. Fasten the wire to Tool (D) so that the hardbar does not fall during the removal.
Install Tool (E). Pull the center pin out of the saddle. The shoulder of the center pin should be clear of the saddle. Remove Tool (E). Remove the center pin.

Use Tool (D) to lower the hardbar. Remove spacer (8) from each side of the hardbar. Remove the bar beneath the machine.
