Body Hoist Control
The body must be lowered and the body hoist control must be in the FLOAT position when driving the machine. If the body hoist control is in any position except FLOAT the transmission will remain in FIRST gear irrespective of the position of the gearshift lever.
Raise (1) - Pull the control BACK and hold to raise the body. The control will return to HOLD when released. Hold (2) - In the HOLD position the body is held in position by the hoist cylinders. The control returns to HOLD when released from RAISE. Lower (3) - Push the control forward from the HOLD position to engage the LOWER position. In this position the body is lowered under power. The control will return to FLOAT when released. Float (4) - While the control is in the FLOAT position the hoist cylinders are connected to tank. This ensures that the body is carried on the rear frame and not on the cylinders.Tailgate (If Equipped)
The tailgate is operated automatically with the body hoist control. When the body hoist control is in the RAISE position the tailgate will open as the body is raised.When the body hoist control is in the LOWER position the tailgate will close as the body lowers.
