Save the set points by pressing the "SAVE" key on the programmer or use the Control View or the Watch Window for the control. Review all the set points and record setpoints in this Service Manual, "Programming Checklist" for future reference. The settings can also be saved by using the Control View or the Watch Window for a later download. This function can be very useful for the start-up of another similar unit or useful if the replacement of the control is necessary. Power down the control for about ten seconds. Restore the power and verify that all set points are recorded.
To prevent possible damage to the engine resulting from improper control settings, make sure you save the set points before removing power from the control. Failure to save the set points before removing power from the control causes them to return to the previously settings that have been saved.
If you use the programmer, disconnect the programmer from the control. The Control View or the Watch Window may remain connected or removed from the control at the user's discretion. Close the cover over the J1 port and then tighten the retaining screw if the connection is removed.
