PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR REPLACING THE GAS INLET ELBOW ON CERTAIN 3512C DYNAMIC GAS BLENDING OIL WELL SERVICE ENGINES

This Program must be administered as soon as possible.When reporting the repair, use "PI11018" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty ClaimDescription Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code.
Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI11018" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number,"96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the 27Apr2015 (Revised 14May2015) Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Affected Product.
PROBLEM
The gas inlet elbow needs to be replaced on certain 3512C Dynamic Gas Blending Oil Well Service Engines. The existing gas inlet elbow can crack creating a gas leak which may lead to fire or explosion. This could result in a risk of personal injury or death.
