Repeat engine oil leaks at the alternator and AC compressor drive seal that use the 280-3313 Sleeve and the 300-8567 Sleeve.Solution
Oil can leak between the pulley and the wear sleeve. Apply Loctite® 648™ Retaining Compound or Loctite® 540™ Cup/Core Plug Sealant to the inside of the wear sleeve prior to installing wear sleeve on the pulley. Ensure that no excess sealant is present on the running surface of the sleeve, or the lead in chamfer after installation as this can damage the seal.
