Note: To connect the steering frame lock, the machine must be in the straight ahead position.

Steering frame lock in the STORED position.
(1) Locking pin (not visible)
(2) Retaining pin
(3) Steering frame lock
Remove locking pin (1) from retaining pin (2). Remove the retaining pin which secures steering frame lock (3) in the STORED position.

Rotate the free end of the steering frame lock so that the holes in the steering frame lock align with the hole in the front frame of the machine.
Install retaining pin (2) through the holes of the steering frame lock and through the hole in the front frame of the machine. Secure the retaining pin with locking pin (1) that was removed in step 1. Note: Connect the steering frame lock when the machine is being lifted and when the machine is being transported. Also connect the steering frame lock if you are performing service work near the articulation joint.Disconnect the steering frame lock from the front frame and place the steering frame lock in the STORED position before the machine is operated.
