Put water on the seal.
Use the 135-7629 Seal Installer to install the seal and the ring together in the housing bore with the shiny face of the ceramic ring toward the carbon seal. (3) Seal assembly
Remove the spring from the seal.
Put clean water inside the seal assembly.
Use the 135-7629 Seal Installer and hand pressure to install the seal assembly on the shaft until the carbon face lightly contacts the shiny face of the ceramic ring.
Install the spring. (4) Torque for the bolt that holds the impeller ... 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft) (5) Torque for the bolt that holds the gear ... 97 7 N m (72 5 lb ft)
