The 336-7751 Drive Shaft Guard Gp (1) 337-4316 Plate As (2) 336-7757 Plate As (3) 337-4313 Plate As (4) 336-7754 Plate As
By use of a suitable lifting device, remove the drive shaft guard group from the machine. The drive shaft guard group weighs approximately 82 kg (181 lb).
Remove the 337-4316 Plate As (1) from the top of the drive shaft guard group toward the torque converter.

The 337-4316 Plate As (1) (A) 70.0 mm (2.76 inch) (B) 15.0 mm (0.59 inch)
Refer to Illustration 2. Trim the plate assembly. Smooth any rough cuts with a grinder to remove any sharp edges.
Remove the 336-7757 Plate As (2) from the bottom of the drive shaft guard group toward the torque converter.

The 336-7757 Plate As (2) (C) 15.0 mm (0.59 inch) (E) 70.0 mm (2.76 inch) from point (D) to point (F) (G) 30.0 mm (1.18 inch)
Refer to Illustration 3. Trim the plate assembly. Smooth any rough cuts with a grinder to remove any sharp edges.
Assemble the two plate assemblies to the drive shaft guard group toward the torque converter.
Remove the 337-4313 Plate As (3) from the top of the drive shaft guard group toward the transmission.

The 337-4313 Plate As (3) (J) 15.0 mm (0.59 inch) from point (H) to point (K)
Refer to Illustration 4. Trim the plate assembly. Smooth any rough cuts with a grinder to remove any sharp edges.
Remove the 336-7754 Plate As (4) from the bottom of the drive shaft guard group toward the transmission.

The 336-7754 Plate As (4) (M) 15.0 mm (0.59 inch) from point (L) to point (N)
Refer to Illustration 5. Trim the plate assembly. Smooth any rough cuts with a grinder to remove any sharp edges.
Assemble the two plate assemblies to the drive shaft guard group toward the transmission.
Install the drive shaft guard group on the machine.
Remove the truck body retaining cable.
Remove blocks from in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.
Return the truck to service.
