3. The weight of the outside rear tire and rim is 1451 kg (3200 lb). Fasten a hoist to the outside rear tire and rim.4. Remove the nuts and washers that hold the outside rear tire and rim in position on the wheel assembly. Remove the outside rear tire and rim. 5. Remove clamp (1) from the wheel assembly.6. Release the pressure from the inside rear tire. Remove valve group (2) from the inside rear tire and rim. 7. The weight of the inside rear tire and rim is 1451 kg (3200 lb). Fasten a hoist to the inside rear tire and rim.8. Remove the nuts and washers that hold the inside rear tire and rim in position on the wheel assembly. Remove the inside rear tire and rim.Install Rear Tires & Rims
1. Make sure the mounting surfaces of wheel assembly (1) and both rims are clean and free of burrs, grease and oil. 2. Apply 2P2506 Thread Lubricant to the washer faces and the threads of the nuts that hold the inside rear tire and rim in position on wheel assembly (1).3. Rotate the inside rear tire and rim, with ring (4) facing outward, so that valve group (2) will align with clamp (3) when it is installed.4. Put the inside rear tire and rim in position on wheel (1) with ring (4) facing outward. Install the washers and nuts that hold the tire and rim in position on the wheel assembly. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 1200 50 N m (880 37 lb ft).5. Install valve group (2).6. Put clamp (3) in position on wheel assembly (1) as shown, and install the bolts that hold it. 7. Apply 2P2506 Thread Lubricant to the washer face and the threads of the nuts that hold the outside rear tire and rim in position on the wheel.8. Put the outside rear tire and rim in position on the wheel with the split ring facing inward. Install the washers and nuts that hold the rear tire and rim in position on the wheel. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 1200 50 N m (880 37 lb ft).9. Fill the rear tires with nitrogen to the proper pressure. See the Maintenance Manual for the proper pressure and procedures.
