The final drive gear group reduces the rotating speed of the travel motor. Output shaft (22) is splined to first stage sun gear (23) of final drive (1) .The final drive gear group consists of the following two groups:
Three-stage planetary gear reductionThe first stage contains the following components: first stage sun gear (23), first stage planetary gears (14), roller bearings (15), first stage carrier (13) and ring gear (16) .The second stage contains the following components: second stage sun gear (24), second stage planetary gears (11), roller bearings (12), second stage carrier (10) and ring gear (6) .The third stage contains the following components: third stage sun gear (25), third stage planetary gears (8), roller bearings (9), third stage carrier (7) and ring gear (6) .
Output groupThe rotation of drive sprocket housing (5) generates output torque that drives the track. Drive sprocket housing (5), ring gear (6), and ring gear (16) are held together with bolts. The assembly is supported with bearings (4) .The planet reduction gears reduce the travel speed. The speed is reduced in a ratio of sun gear tooth numbers to ring gear tooth numbers.
