Press the temperature select switch (increase) (4) , the temperature select switch (decrease) (5) and the automatic temperature control switch (2) simultaneously. This will start the diagnostic mode. The automatic temperature control unit (ATC) will continue to function normally during the diagnostic mode. Parameters can be viewed on the control panel and parameters can be revised on the control panel. Sensor readings can also be viewed on the control panel.

Parameters are selected by using fan speed override switch (increase) (9) and fan speed override switch (decrease) (8) . For example, the parameter value "P01" will be briefly displayed. The current value of the setpoint will follow. Refer to table 2 for the list of parameters and a brief explanation of each parameter.
Push On/Off switch (1) once in order to return to the normal mode of operation.

"P09"     TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE     The air temperature in the cab minus the setpoint is displayed.    
"P10"     "COOL_ON"     The temperature above the setpoint that is required to turn ON the compressor is displayed.    
"P11"     "COOL_OFF"     The temperature below the setpoint that is required to turn OFF the compressor is displayed.    
"P12"     "FAN_MAX"     The temperature difference that is required to turn the blower to high speed is displayed.    
"P13"     "HEAT_MAX"     The temperature difference that is required to completely open the water valve is displayed.    
"P14"     SUN BIAS     The maximum temperature offset due to full sunlight is displayed.    
"P15"     EXTERNAL BIAS     The maximum temperature offset due to ambient air temperature is displayed.    
"P16"     COMPRESSOR BIAS     The temperature offset due to the compressor is displayed.    
"P18"     VALVE MINIMUM     This indicates the difference in potentiometer settings when the water valve is fully closed. This is determined by the ATC control module when the unit is first powered up. The typical value will be 0 to 20.
