Check the rotator head bolts (1) on the outer ring. If any of the bolts are missing the heads, replace all the bolts on the outer ring.ReferenceContact your Verachtert dealer for replacement of the rotator head bolts.

VHC-30 and VHC-40 (1a) Rotator head bolts inside the frame (2) Inspection cover
In order to access the 7 rotator head bolts (1a) on the inside of the frame, remove the inspection covers (2) from the sides of the frame.
Check the rotator head bolts (1a) on the inside of the frame. If any of the bolts are missing the heads, replace all the bolts on the outer ring.ReferenceContact your Verachtert dealer for replacement of the rotator head bolts.
Install inspection covers (2) .

Remove the cover plate (3) and the bolts in order to gain access to the bolts on the inner ring.
Check the rotator head bolts on the inner ring. If any of the bolts are missing the heads, replace all the bolts on the inner ring.Note: The work tool can be rotated manually in order to access the 34 bolts on the inner ring. Use a sufficiently long lever in order to rotate the work tool.ReferenceContact your Verachtert dealer for replacement of the rotator head bolts.
Install the cover plate (3) and the bolts.Note: Do not operate the work tool while the cover plate (3) is removed. The cover plate (3) is part of an indicator function that identifies failure of the rotator head bolts in the inner ring.The cover plate (3) has the following two functions:
The cover plate (3) covers the hole.
The cover plate (3) functions as part of an indicator that identifies failure of the rotator head bolts in the inner ring.When a rotator head bolt has broken or a rotator head bolt has come loose in the inner ring, the rotator head bolt will fall into the hole that is covered by the cover plate (3). The cover plate (3) causes the rotator head bolt to remain in the hole.The rotator head bolt that is in the hole will stop the rotation of the work tool.Stop operating the work tool if the work tool will not rotate.Inspect the rotator head bolts in the inner ring. When rotator head bolts on the inner ring are loose or missing, all the rotator head bolts and the washers in the inner ring must then be replaced.Do not operate the work tool when the rotator is stalled. Structural damage to the work tool will occur.ReferenceContact your Verachtert dealer for replacement of the rotator head bolts.
