Disconnect 351-1146 Cable As from 351-1145 Cable As.
Connect 351-1148 Cable As to 351-1145 Cable As.
Connect 351-1148 Cable As to the laptop.
Use the laptop to open the "IFM Downloader" application.
Select "Identity".

A window will appear with the current version of software.
Move battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Remove the programming cables and replace the Automation ICM cover. Check Site Server Version
Check Using Web Diagnostics
Perform the following procedure to check the installed software versions on the Site Server using the command web diagnostics.
Open the summary tab of the Command web diagnostics. Reference: For the procedure to access Command web diagnostics, refer to Troubleshooting, Testing, and Adjusting, "Web Diagnostics - Access".

Locate "Software" section (11). Perform the following procedure to check the installed software versions on the Site Server using the software manager.

Inspect "Firmware Information" (16) fields, "Version" and "Package Name" to determine the software version installed. Check Radio Firmware Version
Use an Ethernet cable to connect a laptop computer to either:
The Ethernet service connection on the Automation ICM
The "LAN 2" connection on the MAS or LARN radio
An available Ethernet connection on the LARN or AOS Ethernet switch

Use the laptop computer to open the Cat® Networking Devices Manager (NDM) software. Note: Cat Networking Devices Manager is available for download at https://dealer.cat.com.

Use the recorded "MAC ADDRESS" (15) to select radio (16). The lower panel of the NDM will then detail the following information for the selected radio:
Location ID is a radio part number
MAC Address AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF
Firmware version X-XY.Z
Firmware ID E208.CA.1
IP address is <123.123.123.123>Check AIS PLC Version
The Area Isolation System (AIS) software configuration is stored on a Multi Media Card (MMC) card installed in the AIS Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The version of the software configuration is labeled on the MMC. To check the AIS software configuration version, perform the following steps:
Ensure that all machines are shut down and in a safe location.
Turn off mains supply to the AOS power supply adapter.
