Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the crankcase breather. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankcase Breather - Remove and Install".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove bracket (4).
Remove bolts (1) and clips (2).
Remove valve mechanism cover (3) and the seal. Installation Procedure

Apply Tooling (A) to the overlapping area on the seal. Position the seal and valve mechanism cover (3) on the engine.
Install clips (2) and bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) in a numerical sequence to a torque of 20 3 N m (15 2 lb ft).
Install bracket (4). End By:
Install the crankcase breather. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankcase Breather - Remove and Install".
