Remove bolts (1) and tube assembly (2). Remove the gasket and the O-ring seal.
Remove bolts (3) and tube assembly (4). Remove the gasket and the O-ring seal.

Loosen clamp (5) and clamp (7).
Attach a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (6). For 3508 Engines, the weight of turbocharger (6) is approximately 30 kg (66 lb). For 3512 Engines, the weight of turbocharger (6) is approximately 40 kg (88 lb). For 3516 Engines, the weight of turbocharger (6) is approximately 60 kg (132 lb).
Remove bolts (8) and disconnect the pipe from turbocharger (6). Remove the O-ring seals.
Remove bolts (9) and turbocharger (6) from the exhaust manifold. Remove the gasket. Remove the coupling from the turbine housing. Installation Procedure
Install turbocharger (6) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring seals.
Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (9). Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 54 5 N m (40 4 lb ft).
Tighten clamp (7) to a torque of 9.5 1.0 N m (85 9 lb in). Tap lightly around clamp (7). Tighten clamp (7) again to a torque of 9.5 1.0 N m (85 9 lb in).
Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (3) and bolts (1).
