Information:

4-1 Preparation
Make the following preparations prior to disassembly:(1) Workbench with vise The workbench must have enough space to place and hold parts during work. Soft jaws are needed for the vise.(2) Tools and supplies Prepare the tools and supplies shown in 3.(3) Preferably, compressed air should be available for cleaning and drying.4-2 General Precautions
(1) Use care in handling precision-made parts during work to prevent damage caused by striking other parts or by being dropped.(2) Never strike or prize parts forcibly when they are held fast, so as to prevent damage, burring, oil leakage or lowered performance. Use care and patience.(3) Protect parts from corrosion and dust when disassembly is interrupted for some time. Parts rust easily due to moisture or dust when left disassembled.(4) Perform inspection based on Maintenance Standards after disassembly cleaning.4-3 Disassembly Procedure
(1) Wind wire ropes around the swing motor surface and hoist with a crane, then clean motor surface with kerosene. * Tape all ports to prevent foreign matter from entering swing motor. (2) After cleaning motor surface, dry with compressed air. (3) Remove plug (464) with an offset wrench, then drain hydraulic oil from casing (301). * Use a 1 liter (0.26 gal) or larger container to catch hydraulic oil. (4) Remove O-ring (485) from plug (464). * Do not reuse O-ring. (5) Place swing motor on a workbench with the output side of shaft (101) facing downward.(6) Remove cap from crossover relief valve with a screwdriver. (7) Loosen crossover relief valve with a spanner, then remove from valve casing (303). * Pull out straight so as not to scratch fitting surface. (8) Loosen plug (461) with an offset wrench, then remove plug (461) from valve casing (303).(9) Remove backup ring (483), O-ring (484) and teflon ring (489) from plug (461). * Do not reuse backup ring, O-ring and teflon ring. (10) Remove backup ring (483) from plug (461). * Do not reuse backup ring. (11) Remove O-ring (484) from plug (461). * Do not reuse O-ring. (12) Remove teflon ring (489) from plug (461). * Do not reuse teflon ring. (13) Remove plug (469) from valve casing (303) with a wrench. (14) Remove spring (355) and plunger (351) from valve casing (303). (15) Remove O-ring (488) from plug (469). * Do not reuse O-ring. (16) Loosen hexagon socket bolts (401) with a wrench, then remove valve casing (303) from casing (301). * Loosening bolt causes a gap between casing (301) and valve casing (303) due to spring (114) force. Remove valve casing (303) from casing (301) straight by sticking a screwdriver into this gap.* Use care not to drop valve plate (131) since it is attached to valve casing (303) only by the oil adhesion.* To measure the bent of spring (114), perform it when valve casing (303) is removed. (17) Reposition swing motor horizontally.(18) Pull out cylinder (111) straight along shaft (101). * Since piston (121), push plate (123) and bushing (113) are removed together with cylinder (111), use care not to
