PLATE AS 1214741 - Caterpillar

Service the engine air precleaner only with the engine stopped. Engine damage could result.
Open the right front access door.
Remove the scavenge hose that is attached to the box for the air filter.

Remove the three bolts below the battery compartment.

Pull the box for the air filter slightly out of the battery compartment.
Remove the screw in order to disassemble the Cyclone precleaner block.
Remove the cover from the precleaner block.

Blow dust and debris out of the Cyclone precleaner block.
Assemble the Cyclone precleaner block and tighten the screw.
Install the box for the air filter into the battery compartment.
Install the three bolts below the battery compartment.
Attach the scavenge hose to the box for the air filter.
Close the right front access door.
